English Translation
Om, salutations to your wrath, O Rudra, and to your arrow — salutations;
Salutations to your bow; to your two arms also — salutations.
May that arrow of yours which is most auspicious, your bow which has become auspicious,
And your quiver which is auspicious — O Rudra, with that grant us happiness.
Your auspicious, non-terrible, sin-destroying form, O Rudra —
With that most peaceful body, O dweller of the mountain, look upon us graciously.
O mountain-dweller, the arrow you hold in your hand to shoot —
Make that auspicious, O mountain-protector; do not harm person or world.
With a speech auspicious to you, O mountain-lord, we speak;
So that all this world of ours may be free from disease and well-minded.
Salutations to the one who bestows happiness and to the one who is happiness;
Salutations to Shankara and to the one who creates happiness;
Salutations to Shiva and to the most auspicious one.
