A platform earns trust not by claiming it, but by showing its work.
The spiritual services market has a dark-pattern problem. Per-minute meters that extend calls. Dosha warnings manufactured to create fear. Reviews seeded by the platform. Prices hidden until checkout. PujaKit was built as the explicit counter to all of this.
This is not a terms-of-service page. It is a public operating commitment. Every point below is either enforced in our code, in our pandit contracts, or in our moderation policy. If we violate any of them, you can hold us to it — the moderation log and methodology page are public so you can verify.
No "only 3 slots left" counters unless the inventory is genuinely that low. No artificial timers on puja bookings. The auspicious time is what the panchang says it is — not what pushes a faster conversion.
Dosha tools are informational. No automated dosha is a medical or spiritual diagnosis. We will never tell you that you urgently need a puja to avert calamity. The classics teach remedial paths gently, not with fear.
Pandit bookings are flat-fee, scheduled, and time-bound. No per-minute billing. No extending the session for more charges. The dakshina is agreed before the sankalpa begins.
Once a pandit session or e-puja begins, no product is pushed inside it. Your puja is not a sales funnel. The priest is there to serve the vidhi, not to recommend add-ons.
All ratings come from verified buyers — people who completed a real transaction. Non-purchasers cannot leave reviews. The moderation log is public. Removed reviews are documented with reasons.
No third-party advertising trackers. No Meta Pixel, no Google Analytics, no data brokers. We use self-hosted PostHog for aggregate product analytics only — no per-user profiling. You can export or delete your account at any time.
PujaKit earns from real transactions: samagri kits, e-puja bookings, pandit scheduling. Not from serving you advertisements. If that ever changes, we will tell you plainly on this page before it happens.
Tithi, nakshatra, rahu kala, choghadiya, muhurat — every computed value links to /methodology, where the algorithm, ayanamsa, and source convention are documented plainly.
Sampradaya lineage, Veda Pathshala credential, completed-puja count, and verification date are public on every pandit profile. No anonymous pujaris. No stock-photo portraits.
Pandit dakshina, temple offering, prasad shipping, platform coordination fee, and GST — each shown separately on the order summary. You see the full cost before you confirm, not after.
We maintain a public moderation log of every review that has been removed, with the reason. We maintain a methodology page that documents every algorithm we use for panchang and muhurat calculations. These pages exist not because we are required to publish them, but because transparency without receipts is just marketing copy.
