Officially known as Shri Aadya Katyayani Shakti Peetham, it is one of the largest temple complexes in India, spanning over 70 acres. It was considered the largest temple in India before Akshardham was built in 2005.
Mythology
The temple was founded in 1974 by Baba Sant Nagpal ji. The main deity is Goddess Katyayani, the sixth manifestation of Navadurga. The shrine of Goddess Katyayani opens only during the Navaratri festival.
